I have been spending the last few days cleaning up the vege garden in preparation for winter, Still picking the odd strawberries, peppers of all size and description are still ready for the picking. Garlic is planted, broad beans are in and today I picked a lovely bunch of lemon grass which I will freeze. Shelves are stocked with relish, sauces and jellies.
The two highlights of my vege garden this year would have to be the tomatoes and chilli’s, they just flourished.
If you have never grown lemon grass here is what it looks like in the growing form.
